Baker Park on Crown Hill

Day 2. Park 5. We call this the Safeway Park because it’s near the Safeway on 15th and 85th. We joked on the way over that there is nothing safe about it. To our surprise, this park has also undergone a transformation of sorts. It was very clean, accessible, and we even saw a family playing on the kids’ structures. This has not always been the scene here. There are some interesting glazed pieces embedded in the black top. Take a close look. Some fun pieces to see. Perhaps the totem that was installed in August 2021 will prolong this park in its current state.
