The ergasia sector of Domain Rho was comprised of the 5 Shudra systems initially productionized during Kyvernitis’ 45th year as Princ Exec, in stewardship of the 831st Corpor, and in service to the 450th Oligar, as Schedio prescribed.   Kyvernitis found Livadi was optimally suited to host vast herds of vodino across its northern verdant praries.  It was said that he began telling engineers where to place infrastructure while on the initial descent to the surface with his scout troops. Then 4 standard weeks later, expedition waves followed his trail across the continents establishing the actuation network with nodes dispersed to all reaches.  Construction on the penultimate node began just as construction on the genesis node ended, as Schedio prescribed.

The names of the indigenous are lost to time – balance sheet fragments do not account for any human class species on Livadi before incorporation.  The first quarterly report indicated approximately 10 million ergasia, but the analysts did not note from where they originated, and it was standard practice to relocate labor across the Domain to obfuscate their cultural identities.  The ergasia do not have pasts.  The entirety of the resources on the planet were otherwise meticulously categorized.  Every element from the upper atmosphere to the inner core and everything between were parameterized into Actuated Inference.  The model predicted continually exceptional growth for the foreseeable future and time bore that to be true at the expense of the ergasia whose numbers cruelly swelled as a regressor of the Domain’s coffers.  Kyvernitis founded the 832nd Corpor on speculative prospects within Shudra 1 alone.  The Oligar extended membership to him well before he had exploited the 5th Shudra.       

Trevail knew he was ergasia even if he did not know himself or his peers by that designation.  All the ergasia knew they were ergasia because they knew nothing else.  Trevail produced vodino.  Everyone on Livadi produced vodino in one way or another. Nobody knew why they raised, feed, bred, and killed vodino or when the practice began on Livadi even as the cyclic movements of the herd mandated their every action in every hour. The ergasia-ktinotrofoi on Livadi were born, subjegated, and died under the yoke of ignorance.  The Schedio ensured productivity would persist by continuously pouring stimulants, depressants, and erotix onto Livadi, thus spurring an active, low conscious, and perpetually self-sustaining labor pool bred to produce grass fed protein for export off world.

All ergasia existed under Mandate 1, To avail the Oligar, the ergasia produce then reproduce until death.  The vodino livestock maintained relative dignity by virtue of the overt gleaming steel slaughter-house conditions of Sfageio. The labor naively perceived itself as distinct from the livestock.  Actuated Inference predicted they would be less likely to revolt under the veil of rugged individualism and purpose in a job well done.  Sfageio was emblematic of that pacification.  Situated on the equator and adjacent to the Potomi flowing fresh from the windward Vouna range, the city housed and employed 20 million ergasia-ktinorofoi with 4 distinct suclassifications on role.  Vodino, ktinotrofoi, possibility, and water flowed in.  Kreas, ktinotrofoi, resignation, and blood flowed out.  Sfageio produced enough kreas meat annually to feed 500 billion people and was one of many such worlds in the Oligar portfolio.  Actuated Inference planned, managed, and recorded all phases of operations on Livadi as it did in all matters of going concern.  Intermittent chronological records portray only a piecemeal narrative, part likelihood and part mythology, often indistinguishable.  Verifiable artifacts often lead here.

Sfagio stood as an island near the southern shores of the rippling grass seas of Livadi.  Once a herd split and funneled into the hopper chutes, there was little more to do than wait for 16.5 billion animals to follow their enticed olfactory sense through the blades.  The vodino themselves reported the progress of the butchery audibly.  They bellowed with orgasmic joy at the site of the killing floor – the compounds in the preceding sanitation hall air ensured the beasts willing went to slaughter.  Their synaptic patterns confirmed the vodino knowingly choose death. The animals’ bodies and minds were stress free at the moment the cullcurrents ceased all physiological functions.  Their minds projected out only satiation and fulfillment and then nothing.  Extensive experimentation, outside the scope of any native ktinotrofoi’s capacity, yielded inscentivation formulations which tune the emotions of each vodino such that the kreas of each animal were of ideal taste and texture.  The clamor reached a raucous climax like clockwork three times each day and fell to a murmur with each shift change. 

The cattle making the return trip to the grazing grounds, having been inspected, inoculated, and itemized, rendezvoused with the ktinotrofoi on the outbound side of the city .  Plains weary ktinotrofoi had ample time and a year decimal wage in their accounts as the sequence ground on.  Sfagio beckoned, cajoled, and implored the workers to pass through entertained.  Each ktinotrofoi’s traverse from one end to the other a personalized product offering to satiate and slake all alike.  The ktinotrofoi experienced choices by which one could predict the variation in the number of days crossing the city by each person’s decisions with a coefficient of determination near 1.  Everyone left broke after n days. Trevail’s mother and father, two otherwise ordinary labor units, both tripled dosed after work, succumbed to their primal imperatives and fucked until collapsing on the first night their cohorts reached the outer rings of the city – machinated conception – never to reunite or know their progeny.

Gene threads tie back to the likely mother, a ktinotrofoi-gennisi (moschari delivery).  Her timecards noted she birthed a child during lunch on the plains when she exceeded 3 standard deviations distance from her expected proximity to her assigned station.  Ergasia maternity services comingled with the outer support amoeba orbiting the ktinotrofoi as they shepherd the herd across the undulating hip high grass.  Expectant mothers started their shifts like any other day and by custom would work until labor pains exceeded their tolerance forcing them to walk to the delivery shelters. The ergasia women, attributed as within standards for a gennisi role, reached the shelter under her own power as mandated, though under the supervision of Actuated Inference to mitigate any property loss.  She left the child to the care of the delivery shelter and returned to her station to resume delivering newborn moschari vodino.  Women preferred to go during lunch to not miss hours as birthing was not covered under paid time off.  Newborns were not expected to live so they were not itemized until they could walk. The mothers did not play a role in the children’s development.  Her coworkers gave her a gift card.  She spent it on a gift card the following day for another gennisi as this was the kindest thing they could do for one another.  Return on Investment dashboard fragments indicate the mother did not reproduce again and ceased producing value on Livadi after the following Q1 re-org.  

The father, a ktinotrofoi-syllipsi (vodino insemination), never knew the density or composition of the amour compounds in the air around his Ford station. Actuated Inference optimized both variables to most likely result in fertilization given the characteristics of the breeding pair.  His exemplar, a boy barely 2 years his senior, taught him to “bulldoze” by breaking his mask seals just after the male vodino sees the chemically rendered ovulating, prostrate, and eagerly receptive female.  His lungs heaved and his mask filled with the acrid stench of burnt hair.  He threw up as the male culminated and the value of the female increased by 10%.  He ran embarrassed to shower and change clothes only to discover masturbation and return to work still putrid, exhausted, and now doubly ashamed.  In time, he found it useful to bulldoze at the end of a work cycle before cashing his check, buying 2 tabs of erotix, and finding a women wanting to club him.  There are no HRecords of additional virility or re-org.   

Trevail was born while herd Livadi.alpha was chewing its way north during the vernal season and as such was thereafter a syllipsi tasked with ensuring insemination as his father was before him.  Argesia born when Livadi is nearest to Shudra 1 and the livestock begin the journey south are dialogi and earn a living by maintaining separate male and female herds.  The equatorial butchers churned night and day where people born during the autumnal months are receiving vodino at the confluence chutes and ultimately processing kreas to ship off world.  These sfazo and the progeny of sfazo since time immemorial staffed the culling, cleaning, and cutting complexes and earned their decimals by the slice.  Poimen, those of frost, started the entire macabre cycle over by guiding the dazed animals, hooved and otherwise, once more towards the temperate grass swells.  Packing and shipping were actuated functions. The people of Livadi simply lacked the capacity to consider the logistical scale of the operation, the aptitude for the math to maintain the profitability due to the shareholders, nor would Actuated Inference ever risk exposing the inherent precariousness of the apparatus by educating one herd on managing the life cycle of the other.  Which was moot - the Schedio prescribed cognitive and functional isolation for all labor classes to begin with under Mandate 2, To avail the Oligar, the ergasia know their job and use paid time off.  Inference ensured there were no instances to the contrary.  Everyone vacationed in Sfagio. The order was fault tolerant to any literal or figurative opportunity of any consequence.              

Trevail did not accept his situation in so much as he simply was not conscious of his coordinates.  He never considered an alternative to his function or anyone’s relative position.  He was syllipsi.  He was ergasia whether he knew that was his caste or not and aspired to nothing more.  He had adequate decimals from the work and tabs for before, during, and after.  An artifact likely attributable to him flags his indifference to preferential treatment.   Conventional conjecture posits Articulated Inference projected this behavior would disorient his peer ergasia if cultivated in the brood.  And it was virtually certain that a timeline in which this bud was not nipped would blossom into awareness among the ergasia that token favoritism is the necessary seed to cultivate a hierarchical grove.  Vordino do not know they are vodino.  It is to avail the Corpor that they never realize they are a resource but rather they enjoy their grain.  So, Inference promoted Trevail towards Kentro by way of Orycheio.
